First and foremost i thank you kevin for all the hardwork of repeated measurements and your effort to make this a success...
Previously during high rpms, i had mis-shifted several times especially from 2nd to 3rd. While this totally erradicated, it actually made gear changing a breeze.
If i were to grade the amount of extra vibration after the installation, i would put it to +5% only. Surprisingly easy to live with. The item has been in the car for just 3 days and i'm enjoying every second of it.
Another point i would like to note, that during 1st gear move offs, if i were to delibrately keep a low rpm with half clutch, it reduced all the rattling of the cabin and 'shaking' quite a bit.
Do not get me wrong, its not supposed to reduce vibrations but somehow it did so for low-rpm 'close to stalling' sensations.
I sincerely would like to compliment kevin's (the seller) service and commitment towards fabricating the bracket for my picanto as it was the first he had ever installed into (hence no previous prototye). Although it took 3 meet-ups to measure, improve the clearance, and finally install it, he never once delayed the job.
To cap it up, not only the product i do highly reccomend, kevin's service and dedication towards installing it successfully was an eye opener.
note: I requested it to be at its hardest setting and it is really easy to live with, it does not leave your car's steering or floor board vibrating like a tank. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.
Summary:
1) makes gear shifting like a breeze - esp under loads
2) only increases 5% vibration (maximum hardness)
3) slight increase in engine response esp moving off
4) excellent after sales service; seller's letting me
drive awhile first before meeting up again to ensure
all fittings are bolted tight as the item is severely
exposed to engine vibrations.
