Hi Guys!
During servicing, CnC recommended me to change my tyres. It's still usable but almost at the end of life. They told me they don't have stock for that tyre as well(even though it was an OEM tyre...).
Any lobang for 15" tyres? I'm not sure of my current tyre profile at the moment, need to check, but currently still on the stock tyre of the FL picanto. It's a Goodyear NCT something tyre if I never remember it wrongly.
Msia lobang would be appreciated as well.
Add on: Picanto has limited OEM approved 15" tyres to choose, only goodyear, hankook and Kumho. Hope someone can enlighten me if there is anymore that I might have missed out.

What's your budget first. U want comfort or performance tyre? Me using kumho ku31. Cheap and good grip. But it's a UHP tyre. So not really comfort and quiet.

Goodyear NCT/duraplus and Kumho is cheaper in JB. The different is about $10 - $15 per piece.

Looking more for comfort. Smooth, any workshop to recommend?
Side question, When I look at the tyre wear after 40,000km, seems like the wear was even across the tyres even without tyre rotation. CnC said it was due to the squarish shape of picanto wheel location as compared to a rectangular sedan. true? Anyone skips tyre rotation alltogether for picanto?

I'm a new car owner so I was waiting for CnC to recommend tyre rotation to me every servicing, but it never happened(because it's a separate package from the main servicing). At my last 40k servicing, I asked if I should do tyre rotation and they told me the wear was pretty even and it's about time to do a change anyway, so not really needed. Was curious why the wear is even when I missed all tyre rotation, and thus got the answer. Interesting eh? haha. Anyway, back to topic... I think I pancake liao... The OEM tyres are 175/50R15... I tried to do a lookup and can't find much tyres as alternative. And goodyear stopped producing NCT 5... omg -.-

I dun think picanto can get comfort tyre for 15 and 16 inch.

Goodyear, Kumho and Michelin is slightly cheaper in JB. I got my 14" NCT and Kumho for about RM150 per pc and 14" XM 2 for RM185 per pc. Price is after trade in old tyre. Hawk Tyre at southern city for Goodyear. City Tyre at Pelangi for Michelin and Kumho. Wan Motor Tyre at Jalan Yahya Awal (near custom too) for Goodyear and Kumho. Hope this is helpful

Tyre rotation usually comes free at your own regular tyre shop. Even AWD vehicles do tyre rotation. Ask if the mechanic passed his automotive course.

Well, he recommended skipping it for my last servicing cause my tyres are at end of life. When I checked, it's near end of life haha. He did not recommend me to skip rotation for my next set of tyres.
It was his assumption and possible the only explaination when I asked why my tyres worn pretty evenly even without rotation. (Gosh, I must have gave him a hard time)
Please don't quote me when you guys visit CnC hahaha.
Thanks smoothrider! Appreciate the info. For Picanto's 15" tyre profile, I can only find Kumho, hankook and Goodyear NCT. Really limited choices...
