Hi,
Couldnt find a decent 185/55/R14.
Anyone using 185/60/R14 tire on Picanto ?
Any problem for U-Turn with full passenger, and any problem during annual inspection ?
Thanks

i know 185/60/R14 is not in the recommended list. My previous Falken 185/55/R14 basically out-of-stock in this whole island. (been calling around for the past weeks, was told distro not bringing in anymore) Not too keen on Sumo or Kenda either.
Trying hard not to go towards 165 or 175. Understand some bro here using 185/60/R14, great if they can share their experience here.
Thanks

185/60r14 and 175/65r14 is possible without installing extra bodykit.
If with 4 adults making U turn is not an issue but again depending on the traveling speed as the weight will be push forward while making that turn.
I am using 175/65r14 XM2 for a few months and no regard with the decision. It have serve me well and have travel to Melaka, KL and Genting.

Thanks SmoothRider.
Btw, for 175 width, do you find it adequate for more aggressive cornering, esp when exiting expressway via those 'C-type' slip road above 50km/h speed.

Thanks SmoothRider. Btw, for 175 width, do you find it adequate for more aggressive cornering, esp when exiting expressway via those 'C-type' slip road above 50km/h speed. Rgds 185/60r14 profile is wider and lower hence it is better for aggressive cornering compare to 175/65r14 I usually travel around 45 - 50 km/h when enter slip road as I may not know what is happening at the other corner especially when certain front view is block. This is safer to us and other user too. However, to answer your question with my personal experience. It is perfect to travel 50km/h on 175/65r14 via sharp slip road like TPE (towards SLE) to KPE or KPE to TPE (towards Changi) Hope this is helpful.

Thanks SmoothRider, Finally went with Falken 175/60/14. That is the only available size that is nearest to OEM i can find. At $49 a pcs at Tyrepac, really hard to beat Price went up after i purchase though. Rgds

185/60/R14 no problem, so long as you are on stock shocks not with lowering springs or etc....
