Hi fellow Forte bros, im driving a EX Auto Forte. Any bros here encounter weird sounds coming out from the steering wheel when you steer left or right. I have this screeching sound when i steer left or right. Its seems like some rubber rubbing together.
Any bros here experience the same thing? If not, what could the cause be?

Oh man, my car warranty ended somewhere in July... Can it be done at other workshops? What was the problem actually?

It could be a simple fix like adding more steering fluid. Or you might have to fix or get a new power steering rack. Check it with a knowledgeable shop or go directly to a dealer.

I had this problem and got it fixed 3 times within 6 months. They changed the clockwork spring and assembly. They did it out of goodwill even after my warranty has ended.

Check below your dashboard f you have anything obstructing ur steering axle. I encountered this several times, ended up is some wires and loose items blocking, thus when I turned the axle rub against it. No big issue actually...
