Ease if exhaust flow. Some loss of low end torque.

Hi bro, I shall last out the pros and cons i can think of for you. Pros: Bassy sound Ease of exhaust airflow
Cons: Lost of low end torque(which picanto excels the most) Possible Lta's Attention Possible $500 gone each time
So the question is why you want to do it? If you want more power you might be looking at the wrong place.

in short, e pro is tat it sounds good. bad is sure loss of power... illegal... spend more $$$ unnecessarily like when going for inspections... worry abt $500 fine... makes us laugh cos of monkey see monkey do theory... & etc...

In my opinion, I think you should not do anything that is illegal. Instead, you should source for effective mods which are legal.
Although there is a concept of illegal = more power, but I feel the fear of being caught by LTA officers and the trouble of having to convert everything back to stock overrides the more power factor.
Back to your point, ideally, a properly designed aftermarket exhaust system for Picanto will enable quicker release of exhaust gases. So more air fuel mixture can flow into the cylinders during the intake.
But the exhaust is just one part of the story. There's more to be done if you really want to extract the full benefits from it.

Auto pica.... hmmm.... straight thru exhaust all the way also no point la.... even semi-flow muffler, loss of low end torque...
even open pod deem not feasible for auto....

yup risk is still the best solution. Unless you intend to illegal all the way all else risk can still beat some exhaust mod.

Not surE if u can fit 185/55/15 on our picanto without hitting the fender.. With that kind of profile, most will go with 175/55/15 instead.. Might be wrong though.. Just my 2 cent worth..

im on Conti CC5 195/50/15" and my fc is better. perhaps you should get lightweight alloy rims. dont get steel rims.

Dun change ur tyre profile. It's good. I agree w bro miracles tat e weight or ur rims could be e cause of draggy feel. If u going for performance, stay put w 195/45/15. Do try out any pica w RISK during MU so tat u can feel e difference! All u need is to ask for a try! Hehehe

Most pica i did comes with stock exos. Those with aftermarket exos only a handful. Likely due to spore LTA restriction. As for design/size, i personally prefer 4-2-1 header with 1.5inch straight thru pipe without mid bullet with a strong sports muffler. Piping size can increase by 0.2inch if compression increased, but maintain muffler type. This will lose you a significant low end torque but ease of exos flow on high end rev. Happy/safe ride.
