jus 2 chck wif bruders here... any1 tried usin motorcycle engine oil in our cerato v1? coz fr wat i undrstd thos oil meant 4 motorcycle 4 cylinder oughta b able 2 use on all 4 cylinder cars 2... i tink... coz was recommendd 2 try it by frens who used it on a vios, axio n terios... feedbck was engine a whle lot quieter den most car engine oil... also heard dat power delivery felt btr n smoother... oil ey used was Mobile Racing 4T (10W40)... apparently tis oil also happen 2 cost mor den norm Mobil 1 oils... so if worth e xtra dough 2 try...

From past experience, motorcycle-specific engine oils are usually more expensive than car engine oils.

ya, motorcycle EO more pricey. In fact I used car EO on my motorbikes and scooters previously ..EO meant for motorbikes has to consider the wet clutch, which may mean less friction modifier in the package compared to our car EO.

I think m/c oils are much cheaper compared to car oil... My m/c using 3.4l of oil, so usually, i nid to get 4l of oil and my oil change + oil filter is abt $70 only each time. The oil i use is usually abt $15/l & its 10w40 fully syntectic. Its either AGIP,maxima,liqimoly,etc...

By design, motorcycle EO is less slippery, to prevent the wet clutch in motorcycle from slipping.
