Question, when was the last time you clean or replace your air filter (Stock filter) ? During morning pickup super smooth is normal come to afternoon not so smooth on pickup is due to heat build and trap in your engine compartment then come evening time slight improvement due to hot air dropping so you get both mixture depend on engine mode HAHAHA nakshire I like your reply

For stock Picanto, having no power in hot afternoons and rainy days is perfectly normal. If its AT, the loss in power is more obvious.

Fortunately, we have some tested and proven mods then can help. RISK is one of them. QF is another one.

I experienced the same thing... changed the previous owner's hurricane filter to stock. Now low end much better, though when car driven 30mins and longer it comes back, though not as bad. very tempted to install RISK system... lol

Stainless steel filter will give you better mid to high end power whereas stock will give you better low end. It's a matter of increased or decreased air flow.

can i ask if i mod the car e.g change the filter , tune the engine le thn i wan to qf will it be able to see the difference after qf? I would say yes. But depending on what kind of mods you do before that the improvemen after QF will be different. If you change the air filter to RISK then there is a special QF for risk. If just change to other types of air filter like hurricane or simota I think you can use the normal QF. Also QF is like "tuning" the engine.

If you have mod your car lets say you have some hks or simolta air filter than change your exhaust e.t.c you can go for tuning based on your setup of that vehicle called Full Data Log. Or else you can choose to QF which changes your ECU mapping to obtain better fc/more power with a preset map(not tuned to your car). Or you go for R.I.S.K and go for QFR later on(advise to do in parts to feel the difference of both mods).
