Hi guys ;D , since a week ago, my forte has been jerking violently whenever it moves off and stopping, it happens almost everytime I move off from 0-30km/Hr and it has been happening more often . Im not sure if this is termed as 'misfiring'. I'm on Brisk Silver spark plugs , had been using it for less than 10k of milage. Esso 97/98 (not sure if that matters) I understand that Brisk spark plugs tend to cause more misfiring on fortes, but I believe not to this extend becos my car only have this 'jerking' once in a while. Any help/tips n suggestions would be appreciated!

Just ask mechanic to take out the plugs and check.
Cyberlex driving a Cerato V2 also got this issue, thereafter check and change plugs...ok already...
Think you dun want to wait until the problem escalate then solve right.
Btw, i encountered violent jerking, plugs broken. Mileage does not matters btw...

Most probably is your spark plug as Brisk always got problem. I got other people who is using Brisk had it broke into 2 and had to using something to get it out. When u going to change it, change to other brand.

Ya better change to another brand, brisk on forte got some bad reviews already. IMO don't need a very high end spark plug as the flash fire created is so fast unless we talking about F1 cars when every milliseconds counts hahaha
For me I changed from stock "Champion" to "Denso" spark plugs no difference at all.

He's rite...mileage does not matter as the plugs may fail prematurely due to QC issues. Denso iridium is good enough for me...after changing to denso my FC got better. Plugs costs 50% lesser than brisk. I'm using denso ixuh22i. Exactly same length as stock plugs. Brisk and ixuh22 are actually shorter...abt 0.4mm i think.

Haha when I changed my plugs my mech also say it looked ok but if wanna change can do so. So I just change it to see if the problem can be solved. True enough my brisk plugs were the source of the problem. If no problem just stick to it first lor. For me is can use...just use first.

CROSS REFERENCE of IXUH22,IXUH22I,VXUH22 and VXUH22I You find that your stock Champion RER8MC & RER8YC plugs are x-ref to IXUH22 and not IXUH22i.

The thing is we actually use our car plate number and ask the PIC at Ming Ghee to check. They say IXUH22i.

Yup...I physically put the stock champion plugs side by side with IXUH22i. Exactly the same. Will upload pics if I have the chance.
