I drove with my wife and my son sitting alone behind. MY Pica is manual gear. And i strongly advice have your vehicle servicing done before the trip. I suggest you get a sterling wheel lock whenever you drive to Malaysia as the theft will think twice when they saw got extra lock. This might delay them for another few minute, they simply ignore and target other car.
Sorry for late reply as I just back from Muar again yesterday and fyi, my Pica drove total 2550km last 2 week in Malaysia and doesn't feel any abnormal to my Pica.
Agreed to bro Vicente. Always be a passenger when you are first time to Genting as the journey is not easy especially the dangerous corner. For old bird they have the experiences and even knew where to turn or slow down. But for new bird, is much much more difficult than getting a license in Singapore.
Tips for those might not know this:
When back from Genting, braking system is the most usage than acceleration. Try not to jam to hard and brake pad easily get heat up (but depends on steep road condition and not asking you not to jammed brake and danger yourself)
If out of sudden you felt no brake at all, don't panic. Try to stop your vehicle beside the road by down lower gear and use hand brake. This is because the braking system already heated up and need to cool down. You may pour water onto your brake area to cool down or wait for at least 30min ~ 1hr to get your brake return to normal. DO NOT assume your braking system already spoilt especially someone from no where come and told your brake need to replace. Just for your little knowledge.
