Guys can I know wat does 5w-40 n 10w-40 means? Wats the diff between them? In layman term, the 0, 5 or 10W is for the climate type, lower means can take colder climate. For our hot climate in sg, this figure don't really matter. The 30, 40 or 50 behind refer to the engine oil weightage, lower is thin, higher is thicker. Thick might be good for protection but likely to be bad for FC Thin is the opp n sometime, thin oil can vibrate more thus more noise.
