I'm going for my servicing soon at C&C coz still under warranty and would like to find out exactly what is the engine oil, spark plugs, and air filter that C&C uses? Are they considered good? Otherwise is it recommended that I bring my own?

Hmm.. I think you should be fine using the items from C&C. They are the agent afterall. There's nothing to worry about anything concerning the engine oil and expendables they use on your ride.

$620 for 80K servicing?! I kanna $500++ for 40K servicing... and its kind of enuff for me. Though I know they are the agent for KIA.. but I am not tt impressed with their service. Very mysterious though they said they will change this and that and these and those... but all we can do is to have faith in them as we cant see what they did. Unfortunately, had a bad experience with them since my 40K servicing.. and thus i officially withdraw from servicing with them.

I signed this package thingy with them and still have 1 more servicing to go. (50,000k) Is it better to do with C&C or outside? i thought their service brocure is a good indicator of the costs.. although I cannot remember the costs off hand.. here it is Smooth Rider/documents/webbasiccontent/037019.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">www.kiaglobal.com/sg/en/wcm/groups/webcontent/ Smooth Rider/documents/webbasiccontent/037019.pdf

Base on this it is not too bad.. but if it is like described as above 600~800 then of course Not good.. wonder if the charge more for ppl W/O package and try to save costs with package? If you still have warranty for your ride, it is advisable to go C&C for servicing. Its worth the premium to hedge against any uncertainty on your ride. My steering wheel was having a problem and I sent it to a workshop for repair thinking that about SGD 200 - 300 can solve the problem. Unfortunately, the mechanics feedback that it was my steering column was having a problem and would cost about SGD 2000 - 3000 to resolve!! (New cars steering system uses electric rather than the old hydraulic, hence to repair means changing the whole part!) That was when I called up C&C to check whether if I still have warranty on my car.
Fortunately, the previous owner had bought an extra 2 years warranty on the ride (mine is the 2009 version). Immediately I made an appointment and went for a major servicing. Really have to thank god that the car is under warranty and C&C changed my steering column without any extra charge. All I need to pay was the major servicing fee which total about SGD 400 plus. I had also signed up for the servicing package to prevent from any other faults. In total, I had saved about a good amount of money otherwise my pocket will really have a big hole.
Well.. just sharing my experience with you guys. Whether to service with C&C is up to one's personal preference, for me.. until the warranty expire, I will definitely pay a premium to service my car with them.

Agree with TRITON about servicing with KIA. I bought their servicing package too due to warranty issues.. But of cuz, once my warranty ends, I may go out to other shops for servicing cos they are really too super expensive.
