Due to COE surging, I decided to take very very good care of my ride and willing to spend and try all sort of things to take good care of it. Hope some kakis here can spare me their experience.. I just hit 50k and already changed the followings.
1. Redline 5w30 2. Redline AFT
Haha. this was recommended by one of the bro here.. immediately can feel the effect after changing!!
Next i be changing my front suspension dockets (Got minor cracks liao). Just wondering should i change the following as well?
1. Brake Fiuld (Workshop said can change at 80k instead of 50k, but i using factory defaults so i thinking should i change it as well?)
2. Coolant (Workshop said can change at 80k as well as coolant seldom dirty or low)
3. Absorber (How to i knw if i need to change? I dont want to wait for the suspension to wear off. Any mileage recommendation? Stupid KIA Maintanence guide only said Inspect and Inspect.. Regardless at which milage)
4. Radiator (From most of the bros feedbacks, looks like this thingy usually crack abt 5 yrs plus. Since i already in 4 yr, should i change? Workshop mentioned that this part is impt as once this part break down, it will trigger chain of damages to the rest of the parts)
Hope some experts can share me their experiences. Other than the above i oso thinking to make improvements to my steering wheel and my power steering.. They seems abit tight in steering..

50k mileage in 4yrs is pretty low, as long as no excessive modding or driving related abuse i dont think there's much wear & tear.
Brake fluid and coolant can change at 50k for peace of mind. Delaying it till 80k might not hurt but neither will it if you change at 50k.
ask the workshop to check if absorbers are leaking. if they are not and the car doesnt feel like a bmx when going over humps you shld be fine.
its true that most of us have premature radiator failure. either do periodic checks or change it since year end AWS is on the way.
other things to consider are brake pads, brake fluid, tyres, drive belts, fuel filter and aircon filter.

Google it up? Anyway, 50k is still considered "young". At 150,000km, "everything" starts to wear out.

brake fluid jus flush if u haven done b4... nvr knw if ther any air bubble formin inside n dat will comprise brakin power...
coolant is up 2 u... but its n easy job... jus add sum flush solution idle a whle... unscrew e drain plug if u wana DIY or can jus disconnect bottom hose... den fill up wif new coolant n u r done... if not wkrshp can do it pretty cheaply...
shock absorber... press dwn on e relevant side... meanin if testin ur frnt left den press dwn on e frnt left fender... if ur car bounces up jus one time aftr u release den its fine... but if u notice it bounce mor den once its time 2 chnge... mor time it bounce means worst condition its in... tis test can use on any absorber as long as not thos high-tech ride like audi, mercs coz ey got adjuster dampin tech whch may react diff...

Bro All the maintenance requirements are indicated in the owner's manual. Just look through it t see what needs to be done. Usually the OEM manual will recommend on the kiasu side..
