Don't really get what you mean but the cap doesn't come with the hose. Inlet plug is together with the cap.

Fro your info, mine got the same issue.
If buy this part from stockist, they sell the cap, tubing and the plastic reservoir container.
Pricing less than $30.00.

Ah...so you bought the whole set? i did called up ming ghee..the guy says $8 or so just for the cap...but he not sure whether inlet plug is part of the cap...thus the qs. but for less than $30 for whole set..that sounds very reasonable

Oh, really. It is the radiator cap..haha....I bought that time the whole set was in the sealed plastic bag.
The L shape is 1 piece fused to the cap.
Better to go there personally to check it out.

I also kana this problem before...I went to minghee to buy the cap @ $4 and reused the rubber tubes. Problem solved...C&C said must replace whole radiator when I told them abt the problem at first...ridiculous option.

yah its easy to diy...i remove the cap to take pic last night....wah change whole radiator!! want to chop! i think it cracked coz usually when opening the reservoir/tank of coolant theres stress on that L shape inlet plug at the 90 degree joint. i used superglue on the crack...seems ok now but its only a temp. fix. better get a replacement.

Yah bro...DIY better than send to agent sometimes. They give stupid options! Ur superglue can only tahan a while only...cause the heat from the coolant will still expand the crack to the superglue...better go get a replacement bro.

Yes, only temporary fix. Will still leak after awhile.
The well-known workshop/garage at First Centre charge me $5.00 in value (bought drop-in $115 he quote but in the end $120.00 becuz of the so called labour to glue this part).

i never check the coolant reservoir but if check on the radiator itself (in cool engine condition), its always at brim condition. from ehat i can remember the reservoir is always empty. what should be fill in the reservoir? water or coolant? noob for this coolant reservoir here.

Hmm..going to get the replacement tomorrow..was thinking of some high heat glue/silicon or something to patch it up...but decided not to. wah..charge $5 to glue? been to the workshop for my first svc after gotten the car. tommythk, there should be coolant in the reservoir somewhere in the F and L mark. last night i had to use a torchlight shine into the reservoir then can see the lvl coz the reservoir is opaque. or another way get a wooden ruler or somethin put inside the reservoir...but yest. buy wooden ruler,..cannot fit into the mouth of the reservoir!!!! grrr..thus the flashlight method. but i checked mine when car is still hot/warm.

Yes, there is a water level in the plastic reservoir, if low(1/4) left better top up with water, or recommended distilled water first. There should be coolant in the reservoir.
I never take note of this until one day after 1 year plus the water level goes dangerously low. Saw the coolant green liquid like super low so proceed to fill it up asap.
