Hey guys... just wanna check. My battery is always on the low side ranging from 11.5V to 10.9V when idling & 12V to 13V when driving.i just changed the battery a few mths back.i also got no problems starting my car. is it due to faulty alternator? does a voltage stabilizer or grounding wires help?when i asked the workshop where i changed the battery, he said its okay...can start ok liao!personally i find it distracting when my voltmeter turns red everytime i stop at a traffic light.

Go get your alternator check for charging normal and load test condition and also check all your grounding points and all your fan belts for wears.

go to a workshop or any kiosk with equipments to test your voltage and tally with your voltmeter first.

I suspect your voltmeter is out of calibration. If your alternator is spoilt, your battery will be flat in 1-2 days time.
