earlier this year i made some enquiries over the phone and was quoted 550 - 650 for new clutch plate and pressure plate for cerato using original parts.
better to go down and ask exactly how much they'll charge.

i think my cerato also experiencing the same issue.. difficult to engage gear one and sometimes reverse gear. i've jsut did my regular servicing but still this problem exists.. think its the clutch plate having some problem..

30K, in my opinion, still consider 'young' la, but just to play safe just check every servicing and watch out for signs lor

how fast it wear out also depends on driving style. if you always encounter traffic jams and slopes or luv quick launch from stationary, the frequent use of 'half clutch' will wear it out faster.

ok after i gotten my clutch plate replaced .. my clutch is very smooth .. but the thing is.. my gear level is still difficult to engage.. this happens especially when i'm trying to engage between 2-3-4 or 4-3-2. gear 1 and 5 and reverse gear is okay.. is this normal?

Maybe u might want to ask the workshop to check again. any chance it's a worn out clutch cable?

I oso assume that you have changed the disc and the bearing as well. Err...gear oil, u said changed orendi. then the last resort is your cable. but be careful, 2 chge d cable u nd to take down the whole dash-board (just like changing air-con evaporator coil). Cable price is less than SGD100 but labour cost abt $250/$300 and duration is about 4-5 hours.

guys can i ask, does ur "free-play" for ur clutch tend to mis-align?
Like over time you have to lift up ur left leg further just to get the biting point.. ? Anyone experience this problem?
