How much to change?
Around 800plus or more for new one include tuning.
Or you can get 2nd hand unichip($250-$350) and go for road/dyno tune ($250-$500 plus).
Firstly, you must consider if it is worth the price just to tune for FC.
The money spend is one thing another important thing is to choose your tuner wisely.
You can choose to tune for power or better FC or balance out both.
If you are into power, then even after fine-tune your FC will still be better or worst. All it depend on your foot.

Go for both dyno and road tune. Dyno tune gives you max power while road tune gives you driveability. Both are important in daily driving.

Some hide below the battery, or extend the wiring and hide inside glove compartment or under front passenger seat. These can be discussed with the installer no problem one...

You sure a piggyback control unit is a "NO NO by LTA"?

That was what I was told when I enquired about unichip for my ride. Then I was recommended to use ecu re-flash as it's totally stealth.
Did a check at LTA website, surprisingly they did not state approved or not approved!
