hi guys, I am thinking of buying a FORTE, need advise from all the owner. What to learn more b4 i commit. I was driving a pica 2 years back and a second hand 1.5r impreza now. I find impreza is oil sucker and way underpower although the handling is really nice thanks to 4WD and the heavy body. However it is a manual and my wife keep asking me to get an auto. So i am considering to get a FORTE which is cheap and full of equipments. So pls bro and sis enlighten me should i get a FORTE! Thank you

boot space is really BIG!!! stock sound system is really good and therefore not really a need to upgrade to aftermarket speakers or sub. it is much better than cars with speakers that are good for radio only. air con is strong and cool. car's handling is really good and stable.

Great car, get the manual SX... If auto, get the 6 speed... handling not bad... only down side is the rear suspension set up... its torso arm beam, not chicken wing... if not it'll be perfect... cun ask for more at that price, SX version comes with bodykit, fog lamp, ESP, 17 inch rim, electronic climate control, built in gps, front and rear disc brake, leather seats, auto fold mirror, 6 disc changer, electronic trip meter, telescopic steering wheel adjustment(can up down near far)... I'm having the 1.6SX manual without push start... prefer the old turn key... after all, I prefer manual...

Sorry ah bros, cos me driving avante here. I personally find avante is nicer to drive. You may wish to open up your choice to that as well, and compare between the 2 yourself, rather than getting a biased view from a kia forum... hahaha!!
But forte is seriously chio. Contemplating on a forte when i purchased my ride as well. hehe

its due to slim 15s .... for good fuel consumption.
u can up to 16 or increase the width.

By the way, advice to the owner of this thread, since you previously drove Subaru Impreza with Boxer 4WD, which you would find absolute confidence driving in the rain and any wet surface, when you switch to Cerato Forte which is a FWD car, you may want to consider the different experience you need to adjust your driving style handing especially wet road. It is because the most immediate feeling will be the loss of traction at the back completely when the depth of water is slightly deeper and you would experience sort of side-pull or sudden-slow-down when a Forte tyres go through that patch of road. In an Impreza, perhaps you would not feel it at all.

Wow, smaller wheel size can reduce fuel consumption = improve fuel economy ? ya..... why improve acceleration too..... less inertia required to launch. downside less grip on the road, less stability at high speeds.
