Hi all, I got a little problem with my wife's stick. She's a manual tranny. I got problems engaging to Gear 2. Usually very noisy or harder to engage to Gear 2. The rest of the gears are pretty alright, like Gear 1, 3, 4 and 5. As for Reverse gear, sometimes it just can't park my stick in and sometimes it reject the stick upon releasing the clutch. If such events happen, I may need to wait for a while to engage the stick again. Wads the problem?

Change oil c get better or not. Or u can try below method... For reverse gear, experienced b4 this issue, u can try to engage 1st gear, release clutch and when u sense it engaged completely, then shift back to reverse gear, it should work.
For 2nd gear, dunno whether did u install after market or thicker carpet, as u might need to press the clutch deeper before shift from 1st to 2nd. For 2nd gear, u might

so its gear oil or clutch or gear cable? BTW before advising u to change gear oil, what's ur mileage and how old is ur ride? Gear oil advisable to change every 40K. U may consider bro tommyhk's suggestions. Check your floor mat as it might obstruct your clutch pedal for a complete clutch in. Most prob your problem is either with the gear oil or incomplete clutch in.

That's very low for a 4 year old car! Btw 4 yrs it's time to change liao...based on normal engine oil change interval, 6 months or 10K, ur ride should be 80K rightfully!

Bro...urs is V1 rite? Gear oil should be 3 quarts (3 bottles from RedLine). My V2 uses 3 quarts during the last change. U need to drain out all the oil from the gearbox and pump in the new ones. Each quart costs around $20/-
