I got this app from my colleague. On App Store it cost US$12.99 of course can get for nothing if you know how to do it on iphone I installed this on my IP4. Did a few runs, hmm...not bad, the clocked timing for 0-100 km/h is close to manual clocking. It will give u a rough estimate of the BHP & able to average out your test run timing. If you key in your mods.... it tracks the run per mod. BHP take it with a pinch of salt, because it's based on weight vs. run time to roughly work out the BHP. On a satistical point, the more runs you do; the more averaging the app does; the better the accuracy. But be careful don't get caught by TP. Keep your eyes on the road, because the software knows what to do if you hit the brakes. Take note: The iphone is loaded with MEMS technology (3-axis accelerometers, multi-axis gyroscopes, magnetic and inertial modules) so make as well have some fun with it.. See the video demo. If anyone interested can download & try. www.dynolicious.com

Just did 2 runs on Dymolicious. Thought I post for the fun the result chart. Hope those who wish to try come in and post their results. I have setup my data as per following Weight: 1530kg - I recall tis figure from the Koup brochure Transmition loss: 5% - tis is for manual. I don't have exact figure and pull tis off one of the Internet article. By the way the app allows you to save the performance and share it online or email it out KIA Koup 1.6 2010 KIA Koup Nov 9, 2010 6:12 PM Acceleration 0-10 km/h: 0.77 sec 0-20 km/h: 1.69 sec 0-30 km/h: 2.55 sec 0-40 km/h: 3.40 sec 0-50 km/h: 4.84 sec 0-60 km/h: 6.16 sec 0-70 km/h: 7.53 sec 0-80 km/h: 8.94 sec 0-90 km/h: 11.09 sec 0-100 km/h: 13.17 sec 0-110 km/h: 16.45 sec Elapsed Time 60': 3.21 sec @ 35.8 km/h 330': 8.33 sec @ 72.9 km/h 1/8 mi: 12.47 sec @ 96.4 km/h 1000': 16.04 sec @ 109.3 km/h 1/4 mi: 19.17 sec @ 115.0 km/h Miscellaneous Max Speed: 116.3 km/h Max Acceleration: 0.45 G's Peak Horsepower: 99 HP Generated by Dynolicious You can clearly see the drop in the BHP line (yellow line) when I change gears and step off the accelerator...at abt 4s, 10s

there's 2 value im uncertain to put its value . under "Setip; Settings"
Rollout Speed test & Rollout (distance test) & Trigger
Both are in inches and G .. need help @ here ..
lastly Drivetrain loss what shld i put ? driving a KIA Cerato Forte 1.6 (M.T)

Hi.. Thanks for sharing this app.. Quite a fun app.. But I drive Picanto, so really didn't go for 0-100km/hr sprint.. By the way, there are 3 lines on the graph.. One is km/hr, another is hp, while the other is in G.. What is the G representing?

Key in the weight and give a rough estimate of the transmission loss...I read on the net: MT is abt 5%....AT about 15%. I have key-in the new weight of the car by N2N. As expected the BHP read out drops, I believe the program runs on 2 correlation charts 1. weight vs. timing of run for BHP. lower weight but same timing, will give a lower BHP reading 2. time vs. G-force reading ("G-line") for speed reading. I will post my latest reading. I was working late 2 nights ago, on my way home decided to go for a short run to relief stress. Even non-Koup cars should come-in to post. For all you know, a picanto out-run the koup in a straight line. There is always a possibility... But be careful while doing your runs. Keep your eyes on the road, once you run... reach approx 100+ and hit the brakes the program will take care of everything. Its all "hands-free". The place where I'm doing my runs does not have vy straight roads, so need to keep both hands on the steering just incase. Come in and share your charts. this is how I do it. 1. upload chart pic thru "photobucket" app - you need to sign up for a photobucket account (you can use photobucket to share pictures for anything) 2. email myself the reading data. 3. chart post on SKC. using the direct html hyperlink. cut & paste reading.

Yeah just punch in...Anyway I don't think will ever get a good measurement for BHP. Even if you go to a workshop to dyno your car there will be inaccuracies betw 2 diff dyno machines. A lot depends if the shops calibrate their system. Which would cost them $. Most shops don't calibrate at all. So its just a rough indicator of the performance. This is my last run on the 10-Nov Acceleration 0-10 km/h: 0.75 sec 0-20 km/h: 1.73 sec 0-30 km/h: 2.59 sec 0-40 km/h: 3.46 sec 0-50 km/h: 4.81 sec 0-60 km/h: 5.96 sec 0-70 km/h: 7.25 sec 0-80 km/h: 8.51 sec 0-90 km/h: 10.29 sec 0-100 km/h: 12.24 sec 0-110 km/h: 14.37 sec Elapsed Time 60': 3.23 sec @ 35.3 km/h 330': 8.24 sec @ 75.4 km/h 1/8 mi: 12.25 sec @ 97.9 km/h 1000': 15.68 sec @ 115.0 km/h Miscellaneous Max Speed: 116.5 km/h Max Acceleration: 0.45 G's Peak Horsepower: 93 HP
