When i park in daytime for too long and its really hot in the day, when start car and aircon...it takes forever to get cold even though at max coldness.
and fan must turn smallest if not the air will never turn cold. if fan turn up to ventilate rear cabin, more than 1hr also cannot cold.
so far solution for me is to park under shelter and wait for it cool down and start car and aircon FIRST before moving off in a hot day.
but at night or early morning i cannot stand the cold, only 1 notch to the cold side from neutral.
any remedy to this? considering bring to vim auto for aircon service

I always put up those silver, foldable shield when parking out in the open. Sure helps to limit the temperature inside the car.

I did a air-con piping wrap with heat shield material by whitesnail...hot day still quite ok but fan speed must put at least level 2...thermostat abt 4clicks from the centre.

Aircon pipe wrap can diy. Either use insuflex or wrap with aircon tape.

Remember to set the aircon to blow out and not front and leg. Nowadays the weather is really hot. If you car is moving, the aircon will get cold fast. if idling. then it will not get cold fast. Normally if I want faster at standstill, I press the accelerator up to 2000rpm and that does the trick until I move off. Also, make sure to use a good solar film like Vcool or 3M. They help a little. too. I also use those reflective cardboards but they only protect the dashboard and your chair from burning, but not much else.
