Hi All,
Me hv been driving my picanto for 6years by this December, and was thinking to keep it or not cos gana overheat months ago so engine also injured already. If want to keep, what was need to be done to get it in better shape? All i know now is engage gear also very stiff so think need to change clutch too. By the way, my mileage was 150000+. Please help by giving advise!!!

hmmm.. for myself if i have enough cash i will change ba... but now COE rose so high liao... maybe u want to wait till dec & check if can drop to 20K+ ?
else from what u mention change this & that will costs a bomb also... about 5k?

I think you should sell your current pica and get a newer secondhand car. Expect COE to increase further as in OCT will have another COE quota cut again...

engear gear stiff. maybe u need to change ur clutch looking at ur mileage. engine wise may need to change timing belt. go to reputatble WS and see how much and decide to change or to keep for another 2-3 yrs

though my pica's milage is only 10% of yours, i think in a long term plan, u should sell ur car now. I'm driving a 150000km company vehicle and frequent breakdowns are not uncommon.

water pump mayb spoil mayb must change, clutch plate, spring, wire must change. damage cost shd b ard $300 plus workmanship

go min ghee ask price.
then go ask workshop price, if price ok, let them do. at least let them earn the worksmanship at $100 above else the workshop oso hard to survive.
