Dear sir,
just took over 2nd hand cerato v2 3 wks back, andwould like to enquire on above 2 things:
1) Braking system I feel not that secure with the current braking distance and/or the amount of pressure i have to apply on the brake pedal. I am not sure if it is normal as the previous car I had was rather powerful on braking.
I am not sure if the brake pad requires change, but if so I would like to have some better than OEM ones. Braking hoses wise I am not sure how to go abt it.
2) Do you have redline MTL, if not do you allow own oil for gear oil change?
Thank you.

I always advice my clients to change all the fluid underhood when they take possession of a 'new' car. This is give them more confident and also easier to monitor. I have ready genuine brake pad. Sorry, I don't carry MTL but you can BYO oil.

I already changed EO, but i wasnt exactly looking for the original brake pad, probably something that would work better but still within budget range.
Nevertheless, how much would you quote for full set front and rear original pads?
and how much labour for BMO oil for gear oil change?
