Not Normal, You should see Red color instead. If you see brownish color, that should mean "did not drain away the ATF properly" That's juz my opinion.
1st servicing i replace my ATF at the agent workshop i saw brownish color when i pull out the dipstick. 2nd servicing i replace my ATF at another workshop, they pull the dipstick out and show me that it is red in color leh. So i believe you should see red instead of brown.

Think I have answered you on the SMS. State here again so that for others benefit. AT contains about 7 liters of ATF. Drain and Fill method is only 4 liters. This method is diluting the ATF. Therefore the ATF will still look brownish. Further more, D&F cannot stir up the dirt at the bottom of the AT and thus some of the sludge will still stick there. The other method is cleaner - Flushing. It's like kidney dialysis and you can compare the new and used ATF. Stop only when you are happy with the result. But of course the price is higher and more ATF used (8 - 12 litres).

Don't say that. Just ask if you got doubt. Everyone starts from somewhere. ֪֮Ϊ֪֮£¬²»ÖªÎª²»Öª¡£ÊÇÖªÒ²¡£ - aiyah, no chinese font! What I am trying to say is: Know it say know it. Don't know say don't know. You actually know it.
