PCD got nothing to do with coilover compatibility. Its ur mountings and mounting points tat u can interchange coilovers.

IC.. sometimes c ppl selling used coilover will indicate PCD or some sort of 114.3 figure. So what is the compatable model that we can seek for in order to fit our V1?
thx

Simple answer = all coilovers can fit if you have the money to modify the mounts Another simple answer = there are company sellings coilovers for cerato such as D2. So no modification is needed. So no point wasting your time sourcing for coilovers that are meant for other cars. period

Actually I'm looking for an used coilover set (which cost a lot cheaper than new one, i supposed) For V1 model, not much ppl install this and i could say rarely see ppl letting it go. thus, this my intention to ask for other compatable model which may give more opportunity to source a used coilover.

True, used set is best la. Unless the previous owner super track freako then got prob. But if u buy 2nd hand and mod the mounts, cost wil come back the same as u buy new coilovers bro. So not worth it. Its reali hard to c wat car can fit unless both seller and buyer willing to sacrifice time to go workshop 2gether to check.

bite the bullet and get a new set. If my memory is correct. New set cost around $1200 or less for the D2 coilovers.
Its better to get a new set. this will save you a lot of headaches from buying a used set. Used sets at times has problems which will be unforseen and unexpected.
just my 2 cents

yes, especially leakage or 'knocking' sound. Warranty is given if i am not wrong for new set.

I don't know about failing inspection.. I went thru my inspection (thankfully) without any problems. I'm running 17s and no finger's gap for my front and back.

Lowering or changing coilovers wil not fail inspection.
