Hi Guys, Need some advice with regards to tire change. 1. Are there tires out in the market that are semi-offroad? If yes, what brands are they and where can I purchase them. 2. If I want my sportage to have a slight off-road vehicle feel / capability, what must I do? This is in context with the tire change that I'm looking at. Thank you all in advance for your time in answering this post.

Hi eddyp, thanks for replying. I've gotten myself the Yoke Geolandar H/T-S instead of the A/T-S.
Actually my mind was made up on the A/T-S all these while but when at the shop that I went to, they brought in H/T-S G051 instead by mistake.
I was very reluctant to change initially but just nice, an owner of a Grand Vitara fitted with A/T-S who was doing a tyre rotation told me that though these set of wheels are awesome both on & off (mid) road, they can get really noisy on highways and the reason he fitted them on his ride is because he frequently goes to his farm in M'sia only accessible by gravel roads.
It was then I realised that the only reason why I want an ATS is to perhaps start going for offroads. That would probably be 10% of the time out of 100%. So because of this rationalizing, I settled for the HTS G051 instead.
I do believe that the HTS have got some (little) offroad capability but have yet to try it on off road yet. But my view on HTS as of now, FREAKING QUIET!!!! Totally awesome!! The feeling is so nice on these wheels!!

HTS is city SUV tyres. cater for more normal road condition in singapore hi blackbird, thks for the response. Yup I know that HTS is for more for normal road usage that's why i bought the. Basically i decided against the ATS because I do not frequent offroad tracks + i do not have kakis whom are able to go out on an offroad outing with me. However I would love to go out in a group for some offroad experience in time to come. So in the meantime, HTS would definitely suit my needs. Perhaps I'll head out to changi to try these tires offroad this weekend. Tks guys for the responses. Cheers!
