Hi Joey,
Kevin here, black manual pica, remember me?
My car recently started to have a loud screeching ~eeee noise for about 1sec when cold start engine in the morning, then after that no more noise...happens only one time.
However, now the noise happen for about 2-3sec during moving off ... happens when never start engine for quite some time, also on n off...
Is this sign of timing belt need to change? My mileage is only 57k. Pls advise thanks...

Hi Bro,
That is not the timing belt but the fan, alternator, waterpump belt...
Do drive in to our workshop (amk or chia ping) to let us check on it... Possible to tighten, else beltings will require change.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!

hi joey / eldric, my 3yr old ride has a soft rotating noise at low speeds (eg. driving in carpark) only happens if the aircon is on while driving.
pls advise what could be the prime suspect of the rotating noise thats related to the aircon. thks.

Does the rotating noise follows the rotation of the wheels or the rpm of the engine?

If the noise follows the rotation of the wheel, then it is unlikely related to Aircon. As aircon is not connected to the wheel at all. I think it should be related to your brakes. If possible, please drop by and we will test the car for you. Thanks

I guess it's the loose belt tension. Just need to tighten it and monitor again. Thanks for your support but I am only at AMK for a short while in the morning. I station at Jurong. Take our packages, its much cheaper. Our price is already below market but our knowledge and skill is 'above' market. Haha.
