bros,
was coming to a halt today when suddenly my car started jerking and i found myself still moving forward.
had to last minute swerve to the next lane. thank God no car (even though my lane was super jam!!!)
steering wheel, driver side wheel all also vibrating like mad.
everythg back to normal aft that but i dare not go above 80 liao in case same thing again.
any idea what cld hv gone wrong?

they say is ABS kick in
tmd first thing i reach the workshop say i mst be speeding(!!!!) thn say road wet
but i asked to hv everythg checked for peace of mind
the thing is i used to go much faster and on wetter roads also no such prob
then the day after i collect back my car small slow turn only i feel the jumpy brake again
heart also jump

I don't think Rio cars are equiped with ABS. Just check on these few things: 1) Brake Fluid level & colour 2) Disc rotors surface smooth or harsh? 3) Brake pads newly installed? 4) Vacumm hoses connecting the original brake booster/brake pump If all are okay, recap on any recent incidents could have relate to this problem. Eg: 1) After servicing, 2) After washing car, 3) After changing brake pads If none of the above, maybe should ask the workshop check the efficiency of your brake calipers.

knn..wic stupid workshop was tat... RIo where got ABS???!!!!
shd be ur brake systems (all parts pls check)... but for sure, ABS is a stupid answer... might as well say rio have EPS, ABS, electronic climate control...

errr the 2010 model or 2009 model do have abs and airbag...

errr the 2010 model or 2009 model do have abs and airbag... Oh Izzit? Pardon me for my ignorance. My ex-Rio 1.6L (M) Hatchback which is registered in Jan 2006 don't have ABS & airbag. Didn't realise that the newer Rio have it.

cnc..wa lao..i stop goin there when my gasket blow and they told me its a hose leak..WTF..dunno the mechanics qualified onot..CNC-charge and charge....better get it check..sound very dangerous...
