Just to share, mine is 5years hatch cerato, just replace my timing belt at 83000km, cost around $330, include timing bearing, belt, idler bearing, water pump and gasket, and labour...shd be reliable, after replace test engine idling for 20-mins, tested a week and drive 300 km to Negri S (before KL) and back...4weeks liao...still good.... Noticed all parts are in original KIA bags, but all with Hyundai logo...since they are sister company...Kia is under Hyundai. the old parts also with hyundai logo... the technician advices to check radiator water next morning, to ensure no leakage...Autofriend at Jurong Port... 3years never go back C&C liao...so expensive...$800+labour is crazy... remember my shock absorber for hatch door(2 black piston), they wanted to charge me at around $400, i got it replace at $200 replacement of tyres must go Stamford tyres to get a best deal. Hi bros, Need to change timing belt for 80k, C&C quote me 800+ , not including labour cost yet. Anyone has changed their timing belt in Singapore that is reliable ?

Sure tighten the belts properly? Normally squeaks occur when belts loose. And also after changing new belts, it wil loosen after a few weeks or so , then need to retighten them back.
