i just realise, the screeching sound that comes from my engine bay is actually the timing belt... i bought the stuff and change at gary's.. so peeps, u mite wana do a double confirmation again if u ever wants gary to change for u... such a hassle for me... i go back to my workshop and ask wats the prob... skali found out, 1 BIG SCREW is totaly out fom its original place..then open up everything, again found another screw thats not tighten at all... aiyo..... so guys, just make sure u do a double check again if u were to ask gary's.... cheers!!

Timing belt when 1st install after a few days sure to have sound. Tis is due to the belts loosen. Just go back to workshop and tighten it.
But in firdie case, is just poor worksmanship.

Actuali there's a few more other shops along the same stretch. U can walk ard to compare prices and go for the best worksmanship.
The tyre shop at the end corner also looks good. They also do the normal servicing. Even after service can do tyre rotation and lignment there cheap.

Thanks guys for the replies .. Just came back from Ah Wong's shop and can say that I am quite satisfied with the workmanship. Mechanic does a thorough job. Shop is a little run-down but other than that, they get the job done with little fuss and very reasonable moola. Found the shop easily with GPS...the shop signage is simply a big Mobil sign with the words " Servis Kereta" and "Pusat Servis Kereta Ong", which translates to Ong Car Service Centre"... courtesy of Google translator ;D
