I tink with new shocks would cost ard $500 and springs ard $400, so total is ard $900. Y not add a bit and go for coilovers? Unless u change shocks but retain original springs....

PLease share your feedback with BC Coilover. Is it very hard and jumpy on uneven road??? Your other passengers complain of motion sickness?? Is the damping rate adjustable?? My present original is jumping high and low each time over uneven road........... Just come out of c n c, they say my suspension is ok? ?? Thinking of changing, any recommended brands, i only need it to be slightly stiffer, not going to track.

Then go for shocks like KYB or other brands with both oil and gas. Retain ur original springs. Need harder a bit, put spring stiffener for both front and rear. Tis definitely suffice for ur needs. Last longer than our original which is gas shocks.
Anyway i got a pair of used front original spring stiffeners. Whoever wants, me letting go $20 cheap cheap. Used only for less than 6 mths then now on D2 coilovers.

I've installed Apex lowering springs on my ride. Feels the springs are just a little harder than stock springs. Good for me. Only qualm is the ride is not as low as I want it to be..

Me too love my coilovers. Not bcos of the road handling but bcos can adjust the height and stiffness. Best part, if not shiok already, we can service it.
