Recently, I am seeing a lot of Picanto brake jam problem. I ran through my record and found that many are due to Brake Master Pump. I think it is manufacturers fault. For bros with Warranty intact, please approached C&C to get your problems checked. The Master Pump is presently out of stock. We tried to service a few but not all work.

I think try to service it first. If it doesn't work, then we have to replace the part.
My worry is no parts available in the market.

Hi JOey,
I am having problems with my brakes. The rear drum brakes are making the same noise like those lorries when braking. I was told by the mechanic that I need to change the brake pads and skim the drums to get rid of the problem. The sound is very irritating and makes me feel like the brakes is not reliable.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Most of them are just irritating and doesnt affect safety.. However, do drop by in your available time for us to check it out... Never hurt to be safe right? Cheers!!

The mechanic said that the sound does not affect performance of the brakes... Just that the brake pads and the drum does not fit perfectly...

The mechanic said that the sound does not affect performance of the brakes... Just that the brake pads and the drum does not fit perfectly... Sounds alright then... In any case if the noise is troubling you, just drop down when you're around the area... We'll see what we can do.... Hope you understand that the combination of brake shoe wear and the drum surfaces do cause some sqeak, sometimes braking at different speeds, sometimes just at the very moment your vehicle stops.. There isnt a direct and fast rule to solve this but we'll always put in effort to help.. =) See you soon ya?
