Hi all bros for those who have changed the pole light (beside the main headlight) to led type, does your led last? For mine, seems like only the bulb type last while the led type will burnt off very fast.... jemjem

the problem may be your headlight bulbs. its running too hot and shorten the life your pole light bulb. try changing headlight bulbs. even if you change to the best quality LED pole light, if your headlight temp is high, won't last also.

Hmm...same wif me too...I seldom turn on main light even at night...only pole light....so I guess the LEDs don't really get exposed to the heat from the main light?...

integrated copper heatsink found on T10 LED does not help for applications when the main source of heat is from the H4 bulb beside. The copper heatsink may actually channel the heat into the LED resister/diode, not the other way around.
The problem we face is headlight and function design flaw. as you know, when you turn on your headlight, the pole light will remain on. So after 2 hours of night driving, the headlight is baking the poor LED diode who is also working. The bulbs should be further apart or once the headlight is on, the pole light should be off.
my solution: i HID my headlight. my LED pole light has lasted me for one year and counting. HID run cooler then halogen bulbs.

But some dun prefer HID. Tat means only to use foglights instead of headlights.

hi dear members,
regarding topic, pls buy reliable led , i don't have problem with using h4 together with po led.
pardon me , i c so many of u post that u drive with po light with fog light, without headllite.
is it against the law ?
i mean , it is really stylo - milo to drive with this kind of lite combination, thou the fog lights r quite useless in sillypore e/way.
but sometimes it 's hard to c when u r coming !!! which poses a real danger OTR.
wat ever it is, juz don't use the rear fog lamps in clear weather nitez , it hurts the eyes behind ~ !

I agree with bro honda475. Driving without headlights and on ur foglights, can't c much on the road. Me also hardly use foglights. Seems like a waste.

but our roads are mostly well lighted.. except for some open carparks and ulu areas that use for something (u know what i mean).. other than that, i only use pole lights. if hapen to be in the said areas, then i will turn on my headlights.

bro HID has many light tone if u worry to stop by TP try using 4300k HID not so ez to get stop. Btw try to lower ur HID headlight or fog aft install, it not good to use hid to shine on the car infront u. I dont mind if u use pole light but just dont forget to on it cos on the road i can see many car in the night time dont even 1 2 on the light at all..... Y??? Save batt isit then dont drive lor.
