Hi Just curious. When I got my v2, I opted for the full height Kenwood hifi set. Sound was not that good but functional for me. However, after 2.5 years, the display konked. Everything works excpet no display. I can't do any adjustment (which is not a big issue because everything has been programmed already) but I am not able to select speakers, balance etc unless I use the manual and go through the steps correctly. I am wondering if its worth it to repair the unit or just leave it as it is. I assume the warranty is only 1 year? Thanks

It's time to change a newer & better HU liao. Stock HU only come with 1 yr warranty... I believe the repairing $$ + top up a little bit can buy u a quite decent HU le.

Granted this unit's sound is not as good as the lower end JVC I had in my old Spectra but I am not too fussy about the sound either. For a few weeks now I have been listening to the hifi and selecting the radio stations from memory which isn't difficult as I listen to 2 or 3 stations only. I also know which button and how many times to press if I want to listen to CD.. BTW, have not seen you update your FC in a while..
