Its a catalytic converter with less exhaust back pressure.

Does anyone have problem after changing to hi flow cat eg. engine check light on?

the main purpose to install a hi flow cat is to eliminate engine-check light. if ECL still comes on after installing hi flow cat, it means the catalyst element if no longer effective, thus the whole hi flow cat is unless matal, adding weight and power-robbing backpressure. Guys, the purpose of replacing a stock cat to a hi flow cat is to reduce back-pressure in your exhaust system. it lets your engine "exhale" easier and not have to waste energy pushing the exhaust gases out. Why not just do away with the cat completely since that would remove the cause of back-pressure completely? simple: 1) do it for the enviroment, 2) your 2nd O2 sensor would be fooled to think that your stock cat is faulty and thus you'll get the ECL and thus your A/F mapping would revert to "safe"(read:underpowered) mode. Another note: for hi flow cat, no need to get any fancy or branded unit. just get a universal unit which is sized to your exhaust flow rate(e.g. engine capacity). all hi flow cat are manufactured in more or less the same way which the same elements away. but still, magnaflow mufflers rocks
