Chain more lasting then belt. Belt need to change every 60 to 80K. Chain as good as don't need to chain (change)

Yup, timing chain also need to replace but for a much much longer intervals than belt.

:cheers:Usually,the only indication to replace is the clinking sound and it is much evidence when you open up the oil cap.Under normal usage,maybe you can re-adjust the tensioner if the chain is in good condition but if bad, then must change.Unlike belt,if you were to ignore either by milage or date to replace,then when burst, the whole engine can go up lorry liow

i shall just contribute to the cons of the chain.. hehehe just to be different chain contributes to engine noise and "rough" feeling Chain is heavier and saps engine power.. heheheh But I still love chains
