But Bridgestone prices are more on the higher premium... With that amount of money spent on those, u can get better tyre performance from other brands...
Just my opinion..

Depends whom u got it frm lar! BS can go for Turanza GR80 for cheaper series while if u like performance, go for Potenza RE001! Power! Ex too! If u wan cheaper performance tyres, can try Toyo T1R too!

Is it true that the Turanza AR10 is not available in 17" size for both 45 or 50 series? Only the Turanza GR-80 has 17" size but in 50 series only.
Any help will be appreciated.

Get the Turanza GR80. Super quiet n comfort tyres. My bro in law juz got his 205/65R15 on his Sonata. Even more quieter than his previous Yoko db 501. The thread looks more aggressive, hence dun think handling is an issue. U may check out the review on other forums abt tis tyres.

Bridgestone's MY-01 also another good choice if u dun mind the country of manufacture-Msia..Cheap and more than enough grip for normal stock Ceratos...

Thanks for the replies. 2 more Qs........ 1. Can the Turanza GR-80's 215/50R17 91V fit? 2. For the MY-01, the tire size comes in 215/45R17 87V or 225/45R17 91V. Will either fit too? I'm more inclined to 225/45R17 if choosing MY-01.

My bro in law previous set oso ER30, he told me it's more noisier than db E501. Tat's y tis new set he wanna try the GR80. Amazingly it's much more quieter than wat he'd aspected. I'll definately give a try during next change. Was quoted 195/60R15 @ $115 ea. Kinda high $$.

Thanks for the replies. 2 more Qs........ 1. Can the Turanza GR-80's 215/50R17 91V fit? Ans: Can fit but speedometer reading will be a bit off than normal. 2. For the MY-01, the tire size comes in 215/45R17 87V or 225/45R17 91V. Will either fit too? I'm more inclined to 225/45R17 if choosing MY-01. Ans: 215/45ZR17 would be sufficient enough, 225/45/ZR17 can also be fitted but not sure whther inner part of tyres will brush aganist yr rear absorbers if u carry too heavy loads...wiser to use wat most bros here use coz it's tested and proven!

Thanks for the reply. Found out that Turanza GR-80's 215/50R17 does not fit and there's no 45 Series in Turanza GR-80.
Turanza AR-10 are either Thai or Indo made depending on tire size and as for the MY-01, heard its Mal made.
In the end, changed to Yokohama DNA db ES501....... the ride so far is comfy not hard, better cornering etc but it seems 1/2 tank can clock less km as compared to previous Aspec db, 195/60/R15.
1 important note: check the tire's manufacturing date, dun end up getting a set of "old" tires though the pricing is very attractive.
