you may try the following workshop at AMK...uncle Frankie...
Address: ---------- 4001 Ang Mo Kio Ind Pk1 #01-03 Singapore 569622 Soh Tyre Battery Enterprise Tel: 64549071 (Look for Frankie, the tau kay)
last time i repaired my left rim for abt 15cm scratch at the edge of the rim...uncle Frankie charged me abt $15 which i think is very reasonable...
hope it's help!

even if C&C provides it will cost a bomb in my opinion, best to do it at a workshop outside or if possible use stickers and cover... Can provide a clear pic of your rims so as to evaluate the damage if u dun mind?

I will post once time permit (its very bad almost 80% of the rim is scratch, the outer most part). However I can live with it, but will it have any effect example cost rusting etc which will affect the integrity of the rim? Thank you for all your advise.

The damage is mostly cosmetic.. It will affect the structural integrity if the rim is warped or dented..

Thank you bro manage to figure out. Below are the pic, any comments if its serious and re-alignment / balancing required? I have consulted my friend and advise is that if steering do not vibrate when travel at 100km than should be ok. I can live with this but only concern is safety. About 80% is scratch.

Oracal stickers SHOULD be able to cover the outline of the rims from the looks of it, i did it for my black rims which allow have kerb rashes like yours, if not go to work shop and get it repaired... but as mentioned, go do balancing n alignment if u wanna rest your heart n mind at ease

If the sides juz graze kerbs, it shd be nothing..only cosmetic..unless if u hit a big pothole or kerb head on, then could be bent...but don't tink rims will rust..

I went to the shop a few day ago, wanted to repair my rims too. Unfortunate my rims cannot be repair by skinning. need to use putty & re-spray. End up I got the 4 rims change from the heavy OZ to lighter "Avanti" (correct spelling?) rims. Frankie give me a good price with trade-in of $150. BTW, how did Frankie did the $15 repair, by skinning too?

Ya bro, best solution is to use sticker to covered up or spray. If u decided to spray dun sand too much, because i will explain to you now, If u go to workshop what they did was,i believe they use a grinding stone to grind off the effected area and then polish-up.This method u will get an uneven rim when u go for balancing .Other method they hook up your rim onto a cnc turning machine and skimmed off. This method is better coz it is cutting in whole round. But what people dun know is that the process doesn't end there. There is another process called 'impregnation' that the rim have to go through before using it.This process use sealant that seals tiny blow on metal or casting and therefore causing leak.Because our rims store pressure air when we pump the tires.Of coz u dun wanna pump your tire every 2 days right.
