DTCerato, normal for cerato... mine is HB(auto).. can squeeze 65l when empty.... If only our fuel consumpton is gd, then one pump can last long... too bad its not... got to live with it... :-)

Our tank can squeeze in 1, no problem. Aft the pressure stop, u can squeeze in another 11 litres by pressing the pump slowly flow in. Tis wat i did during my JB pump. The 62l as mentioned was during the fuel warning juz light up. So if u continue to run til it almost empty, 65l is very possible.

Hi guys Perhaps can I offer an alternative view ?
Here are 2 simple tests you can try : 1. Bend down and take a look at your fuel tank. Then look for the pipe leading from the tank to the oil filler cap. Does that pipe hold 11 litres? I would say around 2-3 litres only.
2. Next, check mileage. Did the car run 132km longer than the usual full tank before hitting empty because that how much mileage 11 extra litres will give.
Here is my theory. The pumps are designed to run at full flow rate. Even when flow rate is intentionally made much slower, the sensor continues to register full rate. i.e. for every 100mL, it charges 1 litre regardless. So at the end when it charges for 11 litres, it only dispensed 1.1 litre extra. I could be wrong. Test 2 above should be able to validate or disprove this. I do not overpump like that so need someone who does this regularly to try and test and revert if I am wrong. Any tester can try and confirm ? ;D

I usually pump til brim. Fr full til 3/4 tank, i can clocked 330-350+km. May b can compare with those who stop pump @ force bk see if the distance covered is more than wat u'd mentioned lo. Anyway, i did pull out the pump to check, the fuel juz flow in very slow. Tat's how it can reach the brim lo. I might b wrong. So really need expert to clarify tis.

oh...ok! I once tried pumping slowly after the pump auto cut off but within a few seconds, fuel overflowed out of the vehicle! So I stopped. Had to rinse the car with water for a while because the detergent left a residue on the paint. btw, I chit chat with my SE today. He told me of a client who drove a V2 manual anaged to get 17km/l! He was amazed and so was I. The average from his customers for manual is around 13-15km at most. I guess this guy drives like my colleague. He drives his car very very gently and gets 18km/l for his previous Toyota (while the rest were getting around 14km).

If u off a/c, drive super gentle, use the stock 185/65R15 tires + remove the spare tyres, 17km/l is possible.
Bk to topic, i'd tried on the v-power @ JB once. Aft force bk, can manage to squeeze in ard 2+ litres only. Whereas i can squeeze in 10+ litres when pumping synergy F1.

V2 hatcback 1.6L tank capacity is 55L when the fuel-left-to-go in trip meter showed "--------" , dat mean u have less than 50km 2 go.
fuel tank will showed 550km in fuel-left-to-go in trip (at least in my ride)

I'm able to clock around 350 from full tank to 3/4 tank. At first I thought something wrong with the fuel indicator needle, as it remain full even after driving around 100km.

Usually it'll start to drop when u'd traveled 210-230km if u'd pump it til brim.

I normally pump till auto stop (Esso 95), I can clock around 120 before the fuel indicator needle start dropping. My last tank, I pump till brim (extra 5l) with SPC 95, sad to said that I clock around 140 before the fuel indicator needle start dropping. Why like that, really no idea.. Will revert back to Esso..

why V2 sedan don't have this trip meter? Bro The V2 has TWO trip meters ....I use only 1 though. The difference is the display does not do "----" if running on reserve tank.
