Dear all, What is the battery specs for Cerato V1? Just send in my car for servicing today at C&C, the advisor advise me to change my car battery as the starting power is weak. They wanted to charge me $160 but I told them no as I think outside will be cheaper (Hope I am right ). Base on the price, it should be a MF battery. If I could get the specs of the battery, I can source around outside. Thanks alot.

Thank you for your recommendation. Is Cerato using NS60 or NS45? Any idea?

The alternator can cater up to 80A with +10% tolerance. I'm using 75A type and it's tight-fix at the batt compartment. Price wise is ard $110-$120. You will be surprised at the instant power. FYI, I'm using this set-up for the past one(1) year on those normal $3/pce copper spark plug without any set-effect. Good Luck.

bro, any brand lah, so long as it is 75A specification. I bought mine from Ban Hin - but the battery is not very good. Although it's new, something the power like going to die. Have exchange one liao, but not going back for any exchange. Once spoilt, must change new one liao. Anyway for my brother car, I bought from Bukit Timah - Jurong Kecil Road. That battery is better. YES, u r right. of-course stock alternator lah. kekeke.....

Ya terry, most probably he take it from Mark (I think so). Or maybe he (vim auto) has it own stock. As I've mentioned b4, I've ex-change one with Mark, but still not very good. Anyway once spoilt, change a new one liao.
For those who are comtemplating to change to a new battery, can alway give it a try. Trust me, u will not regret it. So far I have recommended four of my kaki's to change it and all came back will +ve response. In my opinion, make more technical sense than using so-called "spark booster".

Hmm wonder how heavy is the battery from Ban Hin and any light weight battery replacement for our ride...
