Need to cut wires or direct replacement?? I checked my stocks and aftermarket, can't seem to figure out the connection..

i already done myself, it take me for 1hr to complete. need to cut the wire too. just replace the OEM horn.. Thanks psyfool7

haa.... i notice V2 grill is together with bumber meaning hv to remove bumper liao haizz... need to go to accs shop for them to intal liao.... Futher more my this horn got 1 relay or amp duno how which wire to which dam....

No bro, it's not together.. U'll have to remove the cooling plate above the grill, then u can have access to the screws supporting the grill to the bumper..

ohh.. bro Sub u have yr ride is V2 also? but i stil cant figure how the wiring work as the is a relay not sure which wire connect to which the relay got 4 pin haiyooo....

No lah bro, prev gen Cerato.. And I believe the assembly shd be the same.. BTW, I dun think the relay is needed cos when I went to and acc shop, the guy tapped the horn and said there's no need to fix up the relay...

... really bro... is yr horn can go above 12v..thts why no need... as mine this relay come wth a 30amp in it.. so wondering used tht to prevent d horn from 'blow off' due to car produce more then 12v..hmm

I'm not sure abouth that lah bro.. At first, my horn is DIY-ed.. Then When I brought to the shop, mech said no need for relay.. I used the horn(press and hold for more than 5s), and it still works fine though...
FYI, my horn brand is Fiamm..

ahhh... that case i can try to do it tmr c if can work... hopefully nothing will happen... but i need to buy the wire n socket as the size so much bigger then stock horn..

For me i open the hood latch cover and just replace with the oem horn.

ME had DONE my DIY CHANGE OF AIRHORN As Well hehe .. yup is true..the grill have screw to bumper i remove tht... bet still same the concept of V1 n V2.. thanks bros for the guidance...

uhh yup im using tht 140db horn.... tht cause alarm problem? Stebel Nautilus is louder than the Hella Supertones. I think it is currently the loudest legal car horn in Singapore.
