im curious.. i heard psyfool got said the other dae dat if we lower our ride, we need to fix smthg to prevent our tyre from wear out unevenly. izit true? n if yes, how much does dat ting called? When I went in to swap my springs, I asked the mech abt these camber kits... He said no need cos the tie rod can extend quite long.. If very short, then there's a need...

Hi bros, what difference are there between by just changing the spring and changing the whole suspension (spring + shock adsorber) ....

Springs only is non-adjustable...and the stock shocks lifespan may be cut short..but cheaper... ..Coilovers are height & damping adjustable, better handling but ride will be uncomfy..and expensive..

Yoz bro I think for Eibach sparing, it's designed for stock shocks therefore, will not really shorten the lifespan of stock shocks. Our original are sach so think they r still pretty ok. jemjem

Guess it depends on type of spring oso...Eibach oso not cheap... ...Actually, as long as the stock shocks can tahan at least 3 yrs after changing spring, then i guess no issue lah..Some pple oready change car by then..

I'm using Intrax, but dont know who sells them here... Quite hard with minimal bodyroll... But comfort is somehow compromised.. Clears 2 fingers front and a finger for the rear.. Negotiating sharp bends and hi speed corners is really great though...

Apex and BG is quite comfortable for performance... A bro here said that Apex and stock, the difference is minimal... Dunno how true..

just checked with Mancando on the Eibach springs(pro-kit), $440, 20-30mm lowering but not very much harder then stock. if i remember correctly, it was less then $400 the last time I checked. Can any bro advise the pricing for B+G and H&R springs? I need to get my springs changed this weekend, cannot stand the sharp humps at Jurong island entrance.

If u got BK den it's nt advisable to go for coilovers leh!Spring dun really help to lower much but still it's better dan stock lor!

hi all. im new to this forum although been driving a cerato hatchback for 17mths now. checked with vtechware for eibach - stock comin ard 2 mths time price $440 without installation. fong kim says they doin h&r for cerato - stock comin mid jan 08 price ard $500 with installation + alignment. price for both almost same. the installation charge shld be ard $30 - $50 for most shops. does anyone noe if tein springs can be use on cerato? saw a fren of my fren's lancer using tein can clear bout 1 n half finger using 17" 45 low profile tires. damn nice. actually im quite comfortable if the springs can lower down bout 35mm(eibach's specs) for front coz im using 16" 50 size tires and stock bk for cerato sport edition. front bk already very bad condition. thought of changing a whole bumper but need to change the springs 1st but alot of shops no stock...... can anyone advise on which shops that have ready stock for the reputable brands? coz i need to change them fast by end of tis month latest. or else later money all finish by my wife... if can get below $400 better but max to spend bout $500 with installation.

Hi For me I changed to Eibach at $550 at AT Perf. If mancando can giv u a better rate, y not? Performance wise, significant difference when conering (reviewed by my passengers). Think a lot of Bro here said that B+G is gd too. jemjem

I don't think Tein have application for Cerato... Different brands have diff characteristics... Some are very low and some quite same with stock after installation... H&R is quite good for lowered looks and performance... BTW, ur fren's using Tein?? Is it a black Lancer..??

AT Perf quoted me $380 for APEX springs last weekend but I did not go due to heavy rain. It seems to be the cheapest spring for cerato at the moment. Is APEX recommended? my requirement is just to lower the ride for better cornering.
