Hi juz wanna to share this experience with you bros.Recently i bought cerato speedometer cluster over the net.Simmilar to ours but the speed meter is in mph but there is km/h reading in the inner side. The rpm is the same 0-8 x 1000. To my surprise after installing this meter the rpm can be rev over the red lines .I try to pull the car during 2nd gear till about the last bar before 8 and 3rd it fell slightly to 7.5 maybe due to the 17'rim tat i use is abit heavy could do better with 15'rim i guess. The engine cut off is at 8000 rpm.I guess the u.s meter fools the ecu.

Yup ,now able to rev over the redlines. Not too sure the cause. But i think the meter limiter is set higher than ours.Or i think the ecu getting false reading from the meter.

hehehe maybe the meter fooling me. fc wise very damm bad now not like before. But already confirm with few of the speed demons tat its really fooling the ecu.my friend driving dc5 says he use some sort of device (looks like those safc &rsm ) attach to the meter console to fools the ecu into getting false speed and rpm reading to the ecu.

BTW if u opened up the meter console before there is about 3 eprom inside which is use to store data and can be calibrated or tune like the ecu and the preset is in accordance to where the car is exported.

The fc not becoz of the meter but is because of my driving habit tat like to drag and maybe due to the 17' rim quite heavy...
