hi...anyone knows what kind of 2L engine that would fit an 2005 cerato with the original engine mountings, price of the engine and where i can get it?or even better the engine type.

2L Beta engine meant for 2.0 Cerato.. But gearbox must change also..

Is mine a 2.0L beta engine? hear mine not leh its the same engine as a Hyundai make according to the tech at Harmony Motors and also Jackson from C&C told me its same as another KIA make, forgot liao also hehe...

yah...in fact i heard from my friends that kia and hyundai do share certain engines and parts but the prob is tt will it be able to fit the cerato's mounting and where to get it is also another prob and of course the price factor

Get the Tuscani 2.0 engine la. Can lup in 4G63 turbo oso.

Go for tucson 2.7l engine lagi best then turbocharge.

Only saw an old Getz with Tuscani engine b4. The pickup is superb!! May b can try ur luck @ m'sia junk yard lo.

For korean engine or parts hard to find in s'pore or malaysia junkyard i try before.Its best u go online if u trust. If u really want to do engine swap find a reliable workshop in j.b and ask them to inport for u coz to malaysia the import charges is cheaper.Cheers...

Just look at our engine casing and other parts, high chances u wil c hyundai and kia logo embeded side by side.
