sorry to hear tat not to worry too much if under AIG and the damage repair is too high most will declare a total lost and replace u wif a new car. as for claim, mostly will all claim to the last guy happens to me b4 the one infront of u will claim for u and u will claim from the back of cuz wat ever the amount the front claim will plus urs and claim from the last guy tats wat i understand hope it helps

It is correct that the front car will claim you. You will pass this claim to the lorry behind. Don't worry. You are stationery so you liability will be very close to zero. At most the only stunt the other parties can pull is penalise you for not putting brakes at red light.
Getting a new car is impossible unless the structure of your car is compromised making it unsound for use.
Btw, what is claim 3rd party and OD?

May b can try call up AIG see if total lost how much they'r willing to pay? Since the V2 price now not tat high, might have a chance to claim bk 1. But all pending on AIG la. But ask bk the 1 very important question hor, tat lorry got insurance bo? If no insurance then gd luck lo....

Oh yes.. Very impt.. If the lorry driver was drink driving or under some other condition that insurance does not cover then you or your insurance will claim the lorry driver personally. If he got no money to pay then it's going to be a difficult case.

If AIG remains the same, they practice replace you a new car if you claim OD and your car is seriously damaged. By your description, it should be considered serious. However, you should check with AIG directly on this.
If you were to do an OD claim. Your NCB will be affected. AIG will definitely do a recovery claim from the last lorry. You too are able to claim the lorry for your insurance excess and loss of use. Get a lawyer to do it for you. If you suffer from Wipelash (strain neck). Go see a doctor and you will be compensated for that. The compensation is quite good ($5k - $10k). Check with your lawyer on this.
You must monitor your case and inform AIG (who will suspend your NCB and may even load your basic premium upon your next renewal) that you are not at fault and thus refund/reinstate your NCB and loading.
If you want to clear the hassle. Get a trustworthy workshop to do a TP claim for you. All those losses can be claimed at once. Moreover, you won't have to pay from your pocket first and claim from the lorry insurer. Just have to make sure that you are comfortable with the workshop, has good equipments and use only genuine parts.
Thanks and wish you good luck.

Dun think cycle will claim like wat u said la. Like wat Joey said was rite, i'd my 2 accident claim against 3rd party w/o $$ coming out fr my pocket except those medical fees which i get to claim bk a lot more than wat i'd paid. But of course suffer for quite some weeks abt the pain la. Since it's 3rd party's fault, claim watever u think u should claim. Dun forget, the accident not only affected ur car but ur lifestyle oso.

hi all, juz to share... i m doing claims for a motorwksp. we do direct TP claim & dat means u dun hv to pay a single cent. All parts will b original as the insurer may ask the car to be reservey so there is no such thing as not using original.
