I was wondering, the " The New Cerato Sports 1.6 Ex Auto HB" the engine is it CVVT engine? Because my SE told me it is the same engine that Variant 2 is carrying. However, when I test drove it, I felt a little difference. Moreover, I found from onestop review that it says it is a VVT engine...... www.oneshift.com/articles/article.php?artid=313&pageid=3Pls assist...

Hi my SE told me NO diff at all between this two models except Sports ed have the following 1.) Hatchback 2.) body is shorter and heavier than sedan 3.) 16" sport rim 4.) Leather with Alcartara seat 5.) Sony DVD player 6.) Full body kit
If you feel diff during test drive, may because of the different in tyre size, or they fine tune the ECU abit for sports??

"Continuous variable valve timing (CVVT) or VVT with some manufacturers is an automotive technology that allows the intake and/or exhaust valve timing to be infinitely varied during engine operation throughout the RPM range. There are no discrete stages for affected components"

According to the Kia's official price list it is stated as "The New cerato sports 1.6 ex hatchback"....
By the way guys, how much diff is there for 16" rim n the 15" rim. My SE said the tyre is the same lei...

The new V2 HB should comes with 16" rim + Yoko aspect decibel which is same like the V2 premium. Thank you for all your replies. Okay, basically I asked my SE if the FC will increase with the 16" rim. He said that basically, the 16" rim's Yoko tyre used will be the same as the one in 15"rim's tyre. It's just that the same tyre mount on a 16" rim will result in a thinner tyre only. Hence, the turning radius of the wheel will still maintain hence resulting in similar FC performance. What do you think?

Yup. The new V2 is using CVVT engine which is very similar to those using in Toyota. The inlet is fr front & exos mounted near fire wall. It's driven by timing chain, having a higher housepower. Tat's the thing diff. Out of tat, engine compartment is the same. Ops, forget 1 more thing, the V2 reverse gear is beside gear "1" instead of below gear "5" which is found on the V1.
