Any bro respray their brakes b4? If respray, do we need to remove the old sprayed layer?

i would suppose caliper.. no point painting the rotor since it will all flake out once you apply brakes.
Or maybe hte edges? or centre of rotor? I tot ceratos come with calipers unpainted, so where is the old paint to remove?

Callipers can respray, need to sand off the old color that u have sprayed on before, clean clean and respray again, how it would turn out would depend on how clean the old color has been removed... brembo cover can, bro sid justice's cerato did for his, front and back...

Now wants to remove the stickers.... dun think can spray over directly. wanting to check what is the prep job... jemjem

Yeh heard also it will loosen and as mentioned by u causes bad heat dissipation and all therefore i never put and i just sprayed it red also...
remove the sticker and respray the whole calliper better if not the color will be uneven, must use fine sand paper sand off the color, well as least most of the color and then clean it up and respray again, can DIY la but if u wan can get the pros to do it at those rims/tires shop, think 10 bucks/calliper...

Use a sand paper to "neutralize" the surface.. Then apply white base coat.. Just did mine... Will post pics in thread on how to spray calipers..

Yup..like some have mentioned, good to sand the old paint off as much as possible so the new paint can bond well....I might respray my front calipers during DIY...

U sprayed many layers is it?..Many layers will be durable..but tink if add a few layers of clear coat will surely make it more lasting and more shiny....one more reason is if want to put sticker, need to give clear coat to protect sticker..
