HI joey,
Recently start my pica and on my air con there is a ee sound coming from the area of the timing belt or van belt area. but after a while of driving or warm up in the morning the sound will dampen.
this happen when i on my aircon right after i ignition my car. the sound stop when i off my air con.
Pls advise.

the belt is wearing out if i not wrong.
time to change belt. wat ur mileage?

the belt is wearing out if i not wrong. time to change belt. wat ur mileage? I just chnage my timing belt and van belt less than 6 months. there is no sound when aircon is not on. so its not the timing belt.

i dun mean the timing belt but the belt to the air con compressor. not sure if last servcing change or not if change maybe need to tighten it

my 2 mth old sportage also encounter the same thing...y is it like dat? new car also can have dat screehing sound ha? must go servicing again is it?

my 2 mth old sportage also encounter the same thing...y is it like dat? new car also can have dat screehing sound ha? must go servicing again is it? may be the torque of the belt not enough so after run in the belt start to loose a bit, if not it might be the belt they use harden up. Since under warranty go back to them to service free. But when u get yr car test on spot again cos they may forget to repair if u send in together for package service or they didnt repair at all.

Yup, most EEEE noise from Fan Belt (only in the morning) is due to lengthening of the belt. Just need to tighten it further.
Mostly occur 2 weeks after new installation as new belt will expand.
