1st, when driving over water, never ramp your engine. It will cause strong suction from the engine and water will get in. Then Kaput lor.
Your steering wheel shake badly is due to hydro-planing. Your tyre must be original, which is meant for dry weather. Just change it to wet weather tyres.
If you are experiencing power loss (consistence throughout), water may have got into the combustion chamber and bent your valves. You can come over for a compression test. The charges is ony $60.00 for the test.
Thanks and safe driving.

i didn't know that raming engine in rain will get water suck in to engine so easily I only hear ppl with CAI which links to the under carriage for cold air is more prone to suck up water when moving thru flooded roads... So max did you install any under carriage CAI

Thanks fusukae for your comment.
Max said that he drove over a puddle of water. You are right about water not getting into engine during v v heavy rain. It will never happen unless you modded the intake wrongly.
Thanks and safe driving.
