if got whistling sound is what ah ? Close your mouth and whistling sound will go! Haha. Joke lah. Most probably it is due to dried up blower fan motor. Remove and lubricate it will do.

hi joey, when i park my car in those enclose area car park such as shopping or basement, after about few hrs, i get bck into my car,i start my car n turn on e aircon,e air come from e aircon smell like our shirt after wash not fully dry n wear it then got those kind of smell...can advice?thks.... It is Mold and Fungus growing on your cooling coil (evaporator). When you stop your car, water vapour will start to condensate on the cooling coil. It will cause the fungus to emit acidic stuff and thus the sour smell. Small little trick to get rid of this (can't last too lone though). On your way home, if your journey is about 20 mins, turn your aircon temp to the hottest and blower to the highest. Wind down your window abit to cool yourself. Keep the aircon under circulation. It will be hot! The next day, you will find that the sour smell is greatly reduced or gone. The aircon will be colder too. But it can only last a few days to a week until the fungus grow again.

Noob qn: How long will an aircon compressor last if serviced yearly ? Can't really tell. In the earlier days where Flushing is not available, aircon compressor usually last about 5-6 years. Flushing machine only starts to be popular about 4 years ago. So I still cannot tell Compressor with regular service can last how long.

Joey Lim 9636 9151 Is No. 2 the old price? Cos I was charged $180 when I did my 60k servicing last week. I may have made a big blunder here: Aircon flush package is $180 and Member has 10% discount off our regular package.

hi joey, like to check with u,why during driving sometime theres one kind of smell coming out from e air con.can u help me with this problem? THKS IN ADV..... Hi Bro, Replying on Joey's behalf. Have you tried the suggested Heater trick Joey suggested a few posts before? Usually due to our SUPER humid climate air con condensation is very common.. Can do me a favour and try the above Heater trick? Just to confirm its in the aircon and not the cabin carpets and seats etc... We do have a vehicle fumigation service (the nano mist anti-bacterial fumigation) which treats the cabin of bacterial and fungus which causes foul smells.. (note: very effective for cabin, lesser effect for aircon.. we could run the aircon while fumigating so the entire aircon system gets some of the anti bacterial mist) Hope this helps!!

Also it would help to try to recall what you have changed before this happened or what condition you have driven the car before this happened. Sounds like idling valve problem, I'd reconfirm with Master Joey LOL

Please advise. Thanks! It is natural to have a short hot air when start up. You humming noise is mostly due to dirty aircon blower motor. Just need to remove it and clean up.

Hi Bro, $180 is for Aircon System Flushing. As for your aircon not operating at its optimum, i would not say for sure that flushing can help. However I would suggest you drop by for a check. There are quite a number of factors that could cause an aircon efficiency problem. Eg you have a refrigerant leak, flushing will mean your aircon will work properly for a few days but after which its back to your warm 'sauna' again. Thus check is always better than guesswork... You can contact me at the below details for a booking. Have a great week ahead bro! Cheers!
