Hi,
Is there a way we can adjust to harden the step-feel of the clutch of the 1.6m Cerato?

You can't really adjust the 'softness' of a clutch. You can adjust the height or free play.
The 'hardness' of the clutch is determined by the pressure plate fins, they are fixed. Can change but I don't think practical to do so.
Thanks and safe driving.

The engagement of this clutch is by hydraulic and I think there must be some air in the system. It may also be water get absorber into the fluid as well and when it is hot, it turns in to vapour which will cause spongy feeling. Just flush out the system. Cost should be around $68.00

Only can test drive and guess by experience or remove it totally to inspect.
